The Nursing Home Ministry was designed to give children, ages seven and up, the opportunity to lead people to Jesus, preach the gospel, and lay hands on the sick. These mighty vessels are trained to share the love of the Lord Jesus to men and women in nursing homes.

This ministry includes monthly visits to nursing homes, day care centers, and assisted living facilities. Before going to a facility, the head of this ministry meets with the children to study the word and pray. At the facilities, the children minister individually through prayer and laying on of hands to the men and women residents, with the first priority always being to lead the lost to the Lord. This ministry will occasionally team up with His Banquet Ministries to present a skit.

Matthew 10:7-8
"And as you go, preach, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.' Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give."

Luke 4:18-19
"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."

Acts 10:38
how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressd by the devil, for God was with Him.

Romans 10:9
...if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

God anoints children, too, and age is no hindrance to them. They are just as anointed at the age of 7 as at any other age.

At one recent day care center the children visited, 13 people accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord, and one of the children prayed for a woman to receive healing in her ears. During a visit to the doctor following this ministry, the woman was told her hearing had improved. Praise God!
